Superior Insulation Technology

The most environment friendly CFC FREE non-toxic Pheno Duct System which deliver excellent fine result with class “O” standard. Smokeless material when is burn and also achieve the thermal conductivity K=0.018 watt/mc, making it far superior to all other types of insulation. It’s also provide good sound reduction, light weight with superb insulation which delivers clean air because of the Pheno ducting saves 150mm – 200mm of valuable space above a false ceiling in comparison to the conventional insulated sheet metal system. System this new products can be installed flush to the ceiling. The low equivalent insulation thickness further contributes to increased space saving. It’s very versatile cause it can be installed both internally or external. It can be early modified or repaired in sit and can be manufactured on site.

Key Advantages of Formalphen

  • Good fire resistance
  • Very low smoke emission
  • Low ‘K” value
  • Easy to handle
  • Excellent moisture resistance
  • High compression strength
  • Resistance to wicking
  • Low chlorine content
  • Durable

Formalphen Application

Formalphen phenolic foam insulation products can be widely used in many applications, such as insulation and fire protection in the A/C ducting and ventilation systems in hotel, hospital, sports hall, high-rise buildings,
steam-pipe lines and tank insulation; fire protection in the chemical and petrochemical industries; power station insulation; internal and external wall insulation; sandwich panels, fire doors; roof insulation, prefab modular panel housing and cold storage facilities, insulation, etc.

Formalphen
Features

Closed Cell

Formalphen is produced with a closed cell structure in excess of 90%. This feature assures a product with an exceptionally low thermal conductivity(k-value). Formalphen’s closed cell structure limits any direct moisture absorption (and subsequent insulation failure), should a cold system’s vapour seal be damaged.
This type of failure is a major weakness of open cell and fibrous systems.

Fire Resistant

Formalphen is a phenolic thermoset foam insulation material that offers outstanding fire performance. When tested in accordance with BS 476, it achieved the stringent Class ‘O’ requirements of the Building Regulations, including Part 5: Class P (not easily ignitable), Part 6: Fire Propagation Index I < 12 and Sub-Index i < 6, and Part 7: Surface Spread of Flame Class 1. These classifications represent the highest level of fire safety performance achievable under the relevant test standards.

Availability

Formalphen is produced in block foam and the cutting process is computer-controlled to ensure absolute accuracy for most complex shape specifications. We supply in a variety of densities like 40kg/m³, 60kg/m³, 80kg/m³ and 120kg/m³.

Withstands Extreme Temperature

Formalphen is a phenolic thermoset foam material which exhibits excellent fire performance.
This foam achieved class ‘O” requirement of building regulations when tested in accordance to BS476
part 5, 6, 7, which are the safest rating possible.
